The Bikram Yoga is a discipline practiced at 42°C and is based on a series of 26 postures, or asanas and two breathing exercises or pranayama which combine skills of concentration, patience, determination and self control.
Scientifically, the class of Bikram Yoga warms and stretches muscles, ligaments and tendons in the order they should be developed.
These 26 postures systematically move fresh, oxygenated blood throughout the body, each organ and fiber, restoring all systems to normal functioning and healthy. The results are the right weight, excellent health and a great sense of wellbeing.
The heat produces a fluid stretch that allows greater range of motion in joints, muscles, ligaments and other structures that support the body. At this temperature, fully exercising the cardiovascular system also allows the body to burn fat more efficiently.

The muscles and connective tissue become more elastic and allow greater flexibility. Sweating helps the detoxification and elimination of toxins through the skin, the largest eliminative organ of the body. The temperature helps the immune system is functioning correctly.
Practicing Bikram Yoga for 90 minutes is equivalent to running 10 miles, go to the gym, take an aerobics class, get a massage and a facial, go to the chiropractor, meditate, go to counseling, go to a bathhouse and yoga course.
